  • It's all about the perforation

    The concept of perforating a sheet in a wire-bound book might seem like an oxymoron, but actually it's brilliant. You can do everything you would do in a flat-opening, hard-cover sketchbook. But in addition, you can make work that you will then have the ability to remove and have a clean, perfect edge, and a standard, suitable-for-framing, size. I am doing a series of collages in these sketchbooks, and it's wonderful to be able to cleanly remove the page when it' complete, but have the hard cover and flat-opening design while they're in progress. I may have to buy a case of these...
