Golden Sandable Hard Gesso is formulated with 100% acrylic polymer emulsion with high levels of titanium dioxide, calcium carbonate, and talc to produce an easily sanded, smooth and even surface. For use on rigid supports only.       Note: Golden Acrylic Mediums have a new look, but their reliable quality remains unchanged. Most products just have new labels, but you will notice a few items also have updated names. Please note that during this transition in stock, you may receive product with new and/or old packaging. Rest assured, they both contain the same outstanding formulations you've come to know and trust.

Golden Black Gesso is an opaque acrylic primer. It's flexible and can be applied in thin layers to conform to a variety of textured surfaces without cracking. For oil painting over acrylic gesso, it is recommended that at least three layers of gesso be applied.    Note - Golden Acrylic Mediums have a new look, but their reliable quality remains unchanged.
