Canson XL features heavy weight covers and quality papers in generous pads. XL pads are manufactured using environmental friendly, sustainable processes. This heavyweight, fine tooth paper is suited to all media. It is heavily sized making it excellent for blending watercolor and acrylic, as well as dry media. The sheets are micro-perforated for true size. All sizes are wirebound on one side. All have 60 pages, except for the 24" x 18" size, which has 30 pages.

Canson's top-selling XL watercolor pad is now available in a wirebound format! Excellent for a variety of media.  The durable, textured, cold press paper in these watercolor pads stands up to repeated washes and other watercolor techniques. It also works beautifully with acrylic paints, markers, pen-and-ink, colored pencils, pencils, charcoal, and pastels. It has a smooth surface on the reverse side. Pads hold 30, 140 lb. (300 gsm) sheets that are true size when removed at the micro-perforation.

This opaque paper blends and erases well with a variety of media. 50 lb (74 gsm).  9"x12" is Wirebound along the side.  5 1/2" x 8 1/2"  is Wirebound along the top. 9" x 12"  is Wirebound along the top. 18" x 24" ) is Wirebound along the Top
