Terry Ludwig began experimenting with formulating his own pastels in 1995, with a goal of creating an array of pastel colors that were uniformly soft across all densities of hue. The result was a range of intense colors in unique hues that are unavailable elsewhere.  These hand-crafted pastels contain a broad range of pigments and a minimum of natural binders. The square shape delivers broad, thick strokes and thin, precise lines. The size and shape of these handcrafted pastels may vary slightly.
