The Mayline Mobile Parallel Ruling Straightedges utilizes Delrin rollers under the straightedge surface and a metal ball bearing and pulley/wire system for smooth travel that protects your paper surface. This product includes styles for paper, mylar and vellum for reducing smears, optional E-Z grip, and above board mounting hardware. The Delrin rollers look like egg shaped plastic beads that roll under the surface of the straightedge. The ball bearings are on the inside wheel (an outside plastic wheel) that are part of the pulley/wire system.
