Coated with aluminum oxide and seal-coated to withstand repeated scrubbing and reworking, the paper is mounted onto 4-ply, pH-neutral, acid-free conservation boards. Handbook Paper Co. Pastel Premier Sanded Pastel Boards have an acid-free, buffered, pH-neutral surface that accepts as many as 25 layers of pastel and can also be underpainted with wet media. Made in the USA.
