Chroma Atelier Universal Medium/Varnish - 250 ml (8.4 oz)

Both a medium and a vanrish, Chroma Atelier Universal Medium/Varnish can be mixed with acrylic paint or brushed over a dried layer as a varnish. The Medium/Varnish reduces the viscocity and improves the brushability, making it an excellent choice for glazing.  The sheen level can be altered from glossy to satin by adding water. Water-resistant once dried.

Chroma Atelier Traditional Acrylic Glazing Liquid is specially formulated for creating translucent glazes. Use this low-viscosity medium to increase the translucency, flow, and leveling of colors. It imparts a rich, glossy, oil-like sheen that is waterproof when dry.

Chroma Atelier Heavy Gel - Front of 250 ml Gloss jar

Available in two thicknesses, Chroma Atelier Traditional Gel Mediums can be applied with a brush or a palette knife. These thick, waterbased acrylic gels are designed to increase paint structure, create texture, as well as extend the acrylic paints without altering their consistency. Produce obvious brush strokes, peaks and valleys, or brush smooth for texturing, glazing, or collaging. All Gel Mediums can be mixed directly with acrylic paint or applied on top.  Once dry the surface is water-resitant and will take on the finish of the gel medium.
