__Exclusively ours!__ Developed in celebration of Blick's anniversary, the Best of Ampersand Panel Pack Assortment includes three of Ampersand’s most popular acid-free, archival-quality art surfaces. Available in 5" x 7" or 8" x 10" sizes, each pack includes one each Claybord, Aquabord, and Gessobord panel. 

Claybord is ideal for ink, watercolor, gouache, acrylic, casein, egg tempera, airbrush color, collage, photo-transfer, pencil, and pen. It features a velvet-smooth, absorbent, highly responsive finish created by applying Ampersand's archival kaolin clay ground to a True Artist Hardbord substrate. Paint colors remain brilliant and true, and it can even be scratched to add contrast, texture, and fine details.

Aquabord is an acid-free textured clay surface that absorbs watercolors and gouache like a fine paper. It allows colors to retain their brilliance in a way that even the finest watercolor papers can't match, and can be endlessly glazed and lifted to reveal underlying layers of color without damaging the surface. 

Gessobord is a premium archival surface ideal for traditional and water-based oils, alkyds, acrylics, collage, and mixed media. Made with Ampersand's own True Artist Hardbord substrate, Gessobord is perfect for all studio and plein air painting applications. Its fine tooth finish is delicate enough for glazing, fluid brush strokes, and tight detail, yet tough enough to hold up to the most rigorous palette knife painting, collage, and masking techniques.

Each Ampersand panel has a thickness of 1/8".
