Designed to meet the needs of discerning artists, our exclusive Customized Stretched Canvas Service ensures quality framing and the finest stretched painting surfaces available. Choose from an array of custom sizes.
Customized Stretched Canvas Service Features:
- Choose from five hand-primed, museum-quality cotton or Belgian linen surfaces
- Available in 1-1/2" inch profile
- Stretcher bar sizes range from 11" to 96" and are available in full inch increments, i.e. 11", 12" . . . 95", 96"
- Stretchers are made from heavy-duty Pacific Northwest American Fir or Pine
- Double-wide keyable braces ensure absolutely no finger jointing
- Select from 40,000 possible size configurations, ranging from 11" x 11" to 78" x 96"
- Pre-stretched frames are manufactured to meet your unique requirements
- Canvases ship to you directly from our factory in sturdy, insulated, corrugated boxes. They are guaranteed to reach you in perfect condition. We cannot guarantee that the packing carton will be reusable.

Available Canvas Surfaces
20 oz Cotton Canvas:
15 oz cotton canvas, triple-primed with acrylic gesso for a final primed weight of 20 oz. This is our heaviest cotton, intended for professional applications and the most rigorous techniques.
Artfix L-42 Heavy Oil Primed Linen:
Handwoven Belgian linen, triple-primed with oil primer. This is a unique, heavyweight surface with a pronounced weave and excellent tooth. It is a classic substrate intended for oil-based landscapes and abstract interpretations. Weights not available from Artfix.
Woven linen texture, excellent tooth, classic substrate for oil paints.
Artfix L-43 Heavy Acrylic Primed Linen:
Handwoven Belgian linen, triple-primed with professional acrylic gesso. Medium weight with a medium weave, this versatile surface will support both oil and acrylic work in a broad range of painting styles. Weights not available from Artfix.
Woven linen texture, excellent tooth, classic substrate for oil and acrylic paints.
Artfix L-64U Portrait Acrylic Primed Linen:
Portrait weight Belgian linen with an extra-fine weave. Universally (acrylic) primed to support acrylics as wells as oils. Weights not available from Artfix.
Smooth, silky texture for detailed work with oil and acrylic paints.
Artfix L-64C Portrait Oil Primed Linen:
Portrait weight Belgian linen with an extra-fine weave. Carefully coated by hand with oil primer, this is a premium surface for precise, detailed work with the highest-quality oil colors. Weights not available from Artfix.
Smooth, silky texture for detailed work with oil paints only.

Since this is a custom program where the product is made exactly to your unique specifications, we appreciate your understanding that all custom canvas purchases are final and cannot be returned or exchanged for credit. Before placing your order, we encourage you to measure precisely to ensure that your large canvases will clear your entryway and fit your workspace.
Large sizes may require special freight carrier.
If your frame is too large to be shipped by ground carrier, it must be delivered by freight carrier. Additional shipping charges will be incurred. Customer service will inform you if these additional charges apply and provide an exact quote at the time you order.
