This archival grade matting and mounting board is made of 100% cotton fibers, solid color all through, acid-free and buffered with calcium carbonate to guarantee longevity. Colors are extremely fade resistant. Velvety matte finish surface produces smoother, cleaner cuts.  

__2-ply__ - about the same thickness as heavy bristol.

__4-ply__ - about the same thickness as regular matboard.
