Professional-quality Liquid Charcoal can be used to quickly cover large areas. Depending on substrate and layer thickness, it can be wiped off by hand or removed with water. When used as a thin underpainting, subsequent paint layers muddy less than with conventional charcoal due to the higher adhesion of the carbon pigments to the substrate. Liquid Charcoal also can be used with drawing charcoal. The blurring and removability of Liquid Charcoal depends on the substrate — the more even and firm the surface, the easier it is to change the application. 

Available in 35 ml tubes, these 100% vegan pigments are created by charring fruit seeds to result in the following three unique charcoal color options including Grape Seed Black, a cool, bluish black, Cherry Pit Black, a warm, brownish black, and Peach Stone Black, a neutral black.
