Apply Mayco Precious Metals Overglazes to fired glazed ware as a final finish for brilliant metallic finishes. They are are opaque when applied, and result in a brilliant 22 karat yellow gold or white gold finish when fired.  To use, place a small amount of overglaze on a glazed palette, then apply a smooth, even coat to the glazed piece with a brush. Premium Gold will appear red when applied, Bright Gold will appear brown, and White Gold will appear green.  Do not let the glaze pool. Allow to dry, then stilt and fire to Cone 019-018.

Due to their metal-like nature, Duncan Metallic Glazes are great for use as raku glazes. Combine them with other Duncan glazes to create unique effects. Glaze thickness, clay body, and firing can influence results. They flow more freely when fired on a vertical surface than other gloss glazes. Apply three to four coats on Cone 04 bisque, and fire to Cone 04 (Antique Pewter fires to cone 06). Or use any glaze as a base coat, apply wax resist, and apply Duncan Metallic Glazes to create metallic specks. 

Due to their metal-like nature, Duncan Metallic Glazes are great for use as raku glazes.  Combine them with other Duncan glazes to create unique effects.  Glaze thickness, clay body, and firing can influence results.

These non-toxic, food-safe glazes are available in a palette of colors ranging from pastels to rich jewel tones. Paint them on in monochromatic hues, pair them with other colors, or use them for Majolica techniques.  To use, apply three or four even coats, making sure each coat is dry before reapplying. The coats can be applied with a sponge for better coverage. Bisque fire to Cone 04, then fire to Cone 06.  Duncan True Matte Glazes clean up with water.
