Liquitex Professional Acrylic Gouache combines the qualities of traditional gouache with the benefits of an acrylic. This archival-quality paint is perfect for mixed media works and alternate surfaces, as well as for color blocking, layering, illustration, and design.  


The colors are highly opaque, lightfast, and vibrant—they contain the highest concentration of pigment Liquitex has used. They're also water-resistant when dry. 
They have a creamy, fluid texture with no drag, so you don't have to add water for them to be workable, diluting color vibrancy in the process.  


Liquitex worked with artists to create new, ergonomic paint bottles for this line. They are reusable, recyclable, easy to squeeze, and do not have corners, so paint will not get trapped and go to waste. The bottles have screw-off tops and extra-wide necks for easy access to the paint. They also have tapered nozzles with a variety of cut marks.  All colors are AP approved and safe for artists.

Liquitex Professional Heavy Body Acrylic Paints (Cadmium-Free Colors)

This heavy body acrylic paint has a thick consistency for traditional art techniques using brushes and knives, as well as experimental, mixed media, collage and printmaking applications. Impasto applications retain crisp brush strokes and knife marks. Good surface drag provides excellent handling and blending characteristics with increased open-working time. The high pigment load produces rich, brilliant, permanent color. They thin, mix and clean with water and do not yellow with age.

Liquitex Soft Body Acrylics - Mixing Set of 6 (Paint displayed outside of package)

Liquitex Soft Body Acrylics are the same formulation as the original Liquitex acrylics that were first sold in 1956. This pre-filtered paint is creamy and smooth. It is even-leveling and will retain almost no brush strokes. Liquitex Soft Body has a concentrated pigment load to produce intense colors and exhibits excellent coverage. It works well with traditional painting on canvas or panels, especially for fine detail or underpainting. It is also perfect for decorative techniques, such as fabric painting, faux finishing, and illustration.
