These convenient, extra-thick, stable watercolor boards eliminate the need for stretching or mounting. Intended for use with watercolors, acrylics, and gouache, Crescent Watercolor Boards can also be used for illustration, airbrushing, and light collage.  Crescent Watercolor Boards offer a 100% rag, heavyweight 108 lb (160 gsm), acid-free paper mounted to an extra-heavyweight (.135”) core. Uniform external and internal sizing lend maximum durability for wet-on-wet techniques, reworking, and erasing.   They are not recommended for oil paints unless the board has been primed with gesso. The board edges should be taped or waxed when used for heavy washes.  Packs of 3: Available in the most requested sizes, these convenient packs contain three Crescent 114 Watercolor Boards in a clear, resealable bag that protects the boards until they're ready to use.
