Mi-Teintes paper is the choice of artists around the world for pastel, pencil and charcoal work. This gelatin-sized paper is 60% cotton and has two distinct textures: one side is smooth, the other is lightly grainy. It is acid and lignin free and has highly lightfast color. Can also be used for light watercolor washes and can be used in laser and inkjet printers.   98 lb.160 gsm. 65% Rag Content.

Mi-Teintes is a classic French paper with a ""vellum"" texture on the top side and a flat surface on the reverse, both equally suitable for pastel, oil pastel, chalk, pencil, watercolor, and acrylic. It is a heavy, 98 lb (160 gsm) sheet, with a high rag content (66%) to ensure long life without deterioration.

These tape bound pads are especially well suited to pastels. Each 24-sheet pad contains four sheets each of six different colors.

This specially treated heavy white paper is suitable for use with oils or acrylics. Tear off one sheet at a time and throw away the mess.
