I love the qualities of this product. my only complaint is it dries in the bottle too fast once opened. I wish it came in a tube which might solve the problem.

  • Best Over-All Medium.

I do not Oil Paint professionally but I do create Art. I tried Liquin years ago at the recommendation of an aspiring artist. I already used Linseed oil or Turpentine to thin my paint for flow but it took forever to dry. Being a Winson & Newton purist I decided to give it a try. I was very pleased at the quality of the product and how I was able to thin the paint allot and it would never cause a bad effect when drying. I have tried other mediums since to just see what was out there. I now use only Liquin to speed drying and for flow. At times I will use Winsor & Newton; Refined Linseed Oil to add more fat to a dryer paint. This is only if one stay's with the; " Fat over Lean" rule. Liquin isn't the only way to paint but it is the main medium I use. Even old and discolored, it will work fine and will not discolor your art. It's color disappears once added to the paint. Every painter should own some.

I started oil painting at age 17. Shortly after I started, I discovered this wonderful product called Liquin! I have been using it for over 35 years and love this stuff. It is a great product!
