  • Perfect for Practice

This is just the paper I need to practice drawing. It's a good texture and very inexpensive. I don't feel bad if I have to toss away a page or two. And the color is consistent throughout the sheet. A great buy!

It is about as good as newsprint can be. Wish it were thicker and more durable. I prefer the brown paper bag almost paper because it holds up better for things like gesture drawings.

I use the newsprint paper when wrapping the books I sell online to help protect the edges from being bumped. Also, it gives the innermost layer of packaging a professional, finished look. Maybe someday I'll reserve some of it and learn how to sketch wildflowers and butterflies on it.
