  • I love this stuff

OK, maybe I haven't painted as long as my dad did, he started at 5 years old on grandma's walls before he became professional, but e always went to Utrecht when we lived in the LA area. That was how I knew where to go when I started....so after trying many different paints I still come back to Utrecht's paints, and I love this stuff!!! The colors are true to the picture, they are nice and thick so that there isn't a mess when I squeeze them out of the tube, allowing me to squeeze a little or squeeze a lot. The quality holds well and because they are thick you can be a little more inventive with your strokes rather than the traditional washes if you like. Hope evereyone tries Utrecht's watercolors. I do wish there were larger size tubes though....,something to think about Utrecht bosses.:)....

not all wonderful paints come in fancy tubes with time worn labels now made in far off oriental lands. I was thrilled with the Utrecht label of watercolor paints. The pigment saturation is more than satisfactory, coverage great and selection of colors, wonderful....even with distinctions of Ultramarine and French Ultramarine. while I haven't tried all the major on line art supply dealers name labels in paint I can say I love the Utrecht paint and find it a joy to paint with.,
