For 60 years Utrecht has been carefully crafting and milling its Artists' oil paint in the USA for professionals to use in their oil painting.

Utrecht uses the purest raw pigments and oil, no fillers and the highest possible pigment concentration. Each oil paint features brilliant color, a buttery texture, outstanding lightfastness and long-term performance.

Single Pigment Oil Paint Color:

Single pigment colors produce the best oil painting results because they mix truer and more predictably as well as provide the maximum chromatic intensity possible for that pigment. The Utrecht Artists' line has over 40 of these colors.

Comparable to National Artist Oil Paint Brands:

Don't be misled by the affordability of Utrecht Artists' oil paints. This line of artists' grade oil paint, which includes over 40 single pigment colors and few hue mixtures, is comparable in quality to national oil paint brands costing significantly more. We use only the purest grade pigments available. Utrecht Artists' oil paint line represents some of the finest oil colors available today for oil painting.

    Experience: PROFESSIONAL

I love this particular pigment. It is great when you want something a little richer and warmer than regular yellow ochre. The transparency allows me to add a touch of earth yellow without completely changing the other pigments underneath. Great for sand in my landscapes and warming the foregrounds. I love it!
