More than 300 years of washi papermaking expertise go into every sheet of Awagami Editioning Paper. Made from traditional Japanese fibers, as well as other non-tree fibers, these papers are suitable for a wide range of techniques, including ink work, printmaking, and drawing.

Awagami Editioning Papers are acid-free and archival. Every 17" x 10-1/2" sheet has four deckle edges.

Primarly composed of gampi fiber (90%, combined with 10 high alpha cellulose content), Kitakata has a subtle gloss yet a surprisingly soft surface. Warm-toned yet resilient, the sheet itself is also quite dense, making it ideal for many types of printmaking. 36 gsm.
