  • Too slippery for me

    Experience: PROFESSIONAL

To be fair, the overall quality of these panels seems quite good. However, I found them to be far too smooth and "slippery" for my oil painting technique. Paint just pushes around on the surface and doesn't stay in place. If you are working alla prima, you may find these challenging. If you are looking to create washes and let them set, you like a very smooth, slippery surface, or you are looking to work in fine detail, you may love them. Acrylics may behave much differently! I have mounted oils on paper to these boards with great success.
