Utrecht offers a line of copper and zinc etching plates for the engraving and etching professional. These plates command a top quality etching surface, in a variety of sizes.

Utrecht Industrial Copper Etching Plates are made of 18 gauge copper, ideal for etching, drypoint and aquatint. The surface may be polished to photo-engraver's quality prior to etching if desired. The back of the plate requires stopping-out prior to etching.

Utrecht Professional Zinc Etching Plates are 16 gauge zinc etching plates of top professional quality. They are excellent for etching, drypoint engraving and aquatint techniques. The plate's surfaces are polished and the back has an acid resistant coating to protect acid action and does not require stopping-out prior to etching.
