Arches Printmaking SheetsAches® and Rives® printmaking papers have been made by master craftsmen in the Arches mill in France since 1492. These papers are chosen for their beauty and longevity. They are manufactured of the finest materials and purest water on a cylinder mould, for handmade appearance and conservation quality. Arches® & Rives® papers are excellent for etching, drypoint, woodcuts, lithographs and silkscreens. Favored by discerning printmakers all over the world. Arches Cover This famous heavyweight, mould-made sheet is 100% cotton, acid free and buffered. It has a visible, slightly flattened grain, deckle edges and a registered watermark. An excellent choice for lithography, intaglio, silkscreen, collotype and drawing, it is also suitable for embossing and foil stamping - and is often used as an archival cover for prints and antique documents. Arches "88" Silkscreen This mould-made, 100% cotton paper has a smooth, soft surface. Without sizing, it absorbs ink quickly to avoid offset. Arches 88 is excellent for silkscreen printing and may also be used for embossing and foil stamping . Acid free, with deckle edges and registered watermark.
