Utrecht® Highest Quality Natural White Hog Bristle & Synthetic Blend Art Brushes

Constructed of an exceptional mix of White Hog bristles and tapered synthetic Taklon, these art brushes are highly versatile and an excellent choice for both oil & acrylic painting.

The blend of natural and synthetic bristles provides the firm texture found in pure natural bristle art brushes with the responsiveness and snap of a synthetic art brush. The tapered tips of the Taklon creates a smoother brush stroke than a pure bristle. As with most high quality art brushes, Utrecht uses nickel plated seamless ferrules that are securely fastened with deep double crimping onto long orange lacquered hardwood handles.

Utrecht® Synthetic “Interlocked” White Taklon Art Brush

The Series 300 Taklon is a highly versatile art brush that is excellent for both oil and water mediums. The smooth tapered multi-filaments offer the soft feel and delicate control of a Sable brush while the interlocked construction provides better control, a long lasting shape and tips that don't splay. The filaments are set into nickel-plated seamless ferrules that are double crimped onto long Oak finished handles. This brush is a great choice for smooth paint applications and sharp-edged strokes.

Utrecht® Synthetic Blend Manglon Art Brushes

Constructed of a unique multi-color and multi-diameter synthetic Taklon. The filaments have varying widths and are tapered to a fine point then dyed. Known for excellent paint capacity, these art brushes have the silky feel of fine sable, an extraordinary snap-back and great shape retention. The filaments are set into black plated seamless brass ferrules that are securely fastened with deep double crimping onto long black lacquered handles. The Manglon brush is a great choice for sharp clean brushwork and edging with medium to heavy bodied paints.
