Winsor & Newton Oil Painting Mediums

These fine mediums are made to enhance the working properties and finishing of oil colors. They are used to thin, clean, restore and protect your paintings and are compatible with other brands of oil colors.

Artists' Painting Medium Improves flow & wetting of oil colours. Good for oiling out & enriching dry patches. Dries slowly to a non-yellowing flexible film.

Blending & Glazing Medium Thins oils & alkyds. Slows drying rate. Ideal for decorative painting.

Cold Pressed Linseed Oil Mix with oils to thin & reduced consistency. Increases transparency. Amber colour. Does not retain brush marks.

Refined Linseed Oil Increases flow, gloss, & transparency of oil colours. Slows drying.

Bleached Linseed Oil Mix with oils to improve flow. Dries slightly faster than refined linseed oil.

Stand Linseed Oil Pale thick oil that can be mixed with turpentine or mineral spirit to improve the flow of oil colour.

Thickened Linseed Oil Mix with oil to increase flow & speed drying. Thick syrupy consistency.

Liquin Original Speeds drying rate of oil & alkyd colours. Excellent for glazing & fine detail. Nonyellowing. Satin finish.

Liquin Impasto Speeds drying rate of oil & alkyd colours. Retains textures & brush strokes. Extends tube colour & provides bulk. Nonyellowing. Semi-gloss finish.

Liquin Fine Detail Speeds drying rate of oil & alkyd colours. Ideal for fine detail work. Non-yellowing. Gloss finish.
