Sinopia Dry Pigments

Sinopia makes the finest dry pigments. The classical palette is comprised of twenty-three colors that can be used to make your own custom oil, acrylic, water color or egg tempera paints. These colors exhibit a longstanding tradition of excellent permanence and lightfastness. Oil colors are made by mulling pigments into cold pressed linseed oil. Mulling the pigments with gum arabic will produce water colors and acrylic paint can be made by mulling the pigments into a liquid polymer emulsion.
