Michelle Penington has been painting and photographing since childhood. She was born and raised in Southern California where she was a company dancer with Ballet Pacifica. She later attended college at the University of Houston where she received a degree in Psychology.
She has traveled in Europe, the Caribbean, and the United States, which has been used as her inspiration. As a painter, she uses oil on canvas as her medium. Michelles painting technique is true to her own individual style. Each work she creates holds special meaning to her and is created from a love of painting and a unique imagination. Michelle lives in Cave Creek, AZ with her husband, son, and daughter. She is currently a member of Sonoran Arts League, Mesa Art League, and Artlink. Her art work has been featured in the Sonoran News. Her paintings are for sale in galleries as well as reside in private collections around the States.
