I bought this after I bought a really inexpensive easel. This was worth every penny. I was able to complete all my painting and drawing assignments comfortably. I was usually working at a size between 18 X 24 to 24 X 36. Perfectly suitable for artwork that is lager or smaller. I usually sat down, but if fairs well if you're standing up usually. The assembly wasn't too difficult. Sometimes the washers that hold things in place are hard to tighten down all the way, but it wasn't any biggie. I think a professional would be fine with this. There is ample room to put drawing materials.

SInce I don't sell my Work, I will say I am a Novice. This is the best over-All Easel you will ever use. The ability to tilt work is very useful. The wood is good quality and very sturdy. This folds flat and the legs take up a small foot print. The back leg can be adjusted to allow one to be closer to a wall if space is tight. This will hold large canvases down to very small ones. This ability utilizes the tilt-able mast. Do yourself a favor and buy the tillable "A" design and spare the need to buy it later. The simpler "A" models have drawbacks to using them. I paint on 30" X 48" canvases on mine and they are very stable on it.
