Printmaking Paper with all the best qualities of more expensive imported papers at a fraction of the cost.

It will perform perfectly in all printmaking techniques. It is 100% cotton rag and acid-free. Each sheet has two deckled edges and a smooth woven texture, with a bright surface.

Originally developed as a printmaking paper, American Master''s is also a wonderful drawing surface; absorbent enough to accept charcoal, smooth enough for graphite, and durable enough to allow erasing. It is heavy enough for gouache and watercolors, American Master''s performs like a hot pressed watercolor paper, but allows the color to sink in.

Have used it for printmaking but love it even more for mixed media. Can really "take a beating"-it can undergo distressing, erasing, use of water-based media, acrylics, graphite, charcoal etc and hold up really well.

I love everything about American Master's Printmaking Paper. I use it as a painting substrate because it is sturdy and has a lovely smooth surface that accepts the paint just the way I like it.
