Standard Ground (7 - 9 days)
Utrecht ships regular non-expedited orders via FedEx Smart Post® whenever possible. This is a ground delivery service that delivers your order to the local post office that services your shipping destination, which will then deliver your order to its final destination.

FedEx Home Delivery® (3 - 5 days)
For fast, reliable delivery, choose the FedEx Home Delivery® option. This will ensure that your order is not handed off while in transit. It also allows you to track your shipment along the way.

Priority Mail® (5 - 10 days)
Priority Mail® is the fast service that we use to deliver to more remote locations, including Alaska (AK), Hawaii (HI), the Virgin Islands (VI), and APO addresses.

How to use expedited shipping:  Choose an expedited service in your shopping cart, enter your zip code, and the expedited shipping rate will be calculated in real time. Some expedited orders will require a freight quote — you will be contacted for approval.

Expedited orders received by 1:30 p.m. (CT) Monday – Friday ship the same day (in-stock merchandise). We do not ship on weekends or on holidays.

The following cannot be expedited: hazardous items and some drop ship items.

Destinations outside of the 48 contiguous states cannot be expedited.

In addition to your actual shipping charges, the following states require tax to be collected on delivery charges as well as your product purchase amount:

Drop ship items are shipped directly to your destination from the source, whether one of our factories or a vendor’s factory or warehouse. Additional shipping charges apply and will be added during the checkout process. Drop shipments typically take two weeks for delivery. Exceptions will be noted in the product description.

Please contact our Contact Center at 1-800-223-9132 if you have questions regarding a drop ship item. Cancellation of a drop ship item after the order has been received may be assessed a restocking fee, and shipping charges will not be refunded.

Changing or Returning Drop Ship Orders
Please contact our Customer Service Department at 1-888-336-3114 if you need to make any changes to your order or return a drop ship item. Our Customer Service Department will be pleased to contact the vendor to notify them of the return and provide a return authorization number. Returns due to a customer ordering error are the responsibility of the customer to return directly to the vendor using the return authorization number. Shipping charges will not be refunded or reimbursed. A minimum 20% restocking fee may apply.

NOTE: Drop ship rates noted on our website are based on shipping within the 48 contiguous states only. A Customer Service Representative will contact you to provide a freight quote for shipping outside of the 48 contiguous states.

Drop Ship Items that Ship by Freight:
A small number of products ship from the source, i.e., they are Drop Ship items, and must be shipped via freight instead of by a parcel carrier. This is usually due to the size or weight of the item. These items are tagged online as both Drop Ship and Truck Ship items.

Similar to a regular Drop Ship item, an additional shipping charge applies. Unlike a regular Drop Ship item, the amount of that charge varies per customer. Like the Truck Ship items that ship from our warehouse, the freight charge is based on the shipping destination. A Customer Service Representative will contact you with your actual charges. In the shopping cart, an estimated freight charge for these items will be added to your shipping charge. This amount is based on typical freight shipments in our industry and is only an estimate, intended to provide you with a general idea of what your freight charges will be.

Gift Card Only Orders:
Utrecht offers Free Ground Shipping for Gift Card Only orders. Orders containing only a Gift Card, regardless of whether it is from our line of pre-filled gift cards or cards where you specified the amount to be loaded onto the card, ship free via First Class U.S. Mail.

Expedited Shipping Options for Gift Card Only Orders:
  • Next Day shipping for $12.00
  • 2 Day shipping for $7.50
NOTE: Gift Card Only orders will be shipped on business days only. The expedited charge amounts shown above only apply to Gift Card Only orders.

Orders with Pre-filled Gift Cards and Merchandise:
Pre-filled Gift Cards ordered with other merchandise will ship separately. The card's value will not be added to the merchandise total for purposes of calculating the regular ground shipping charges.

Out of stock items that ship from our warehouse are designated online as On Back Order. If you place an order containing a backordered item, those items will be shipped to you immediately when they become available via our regular ground carrier, Fedex SmartPost. This is a ground delivery service that delivers your order to the local post office that services your shipping destination, which will then deliver your order to its final destination.

Backordered items are invoiced when they ship, not when the in-stock portion of your order is shipped and invoiced. Your purchase receipt shows your total order amount, including the backordered items.

For Alaska, Hawaii, the Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico Orders:
Utrecht offers delivery by United States Postal Service (USPS). Free shipping offers do not apply to orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, the Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico. USPS shipments cannot exceed 70 lbs per package. We cannot ship flammable items or expedite USPS shipments.
