Versatile new clay is lightweight, extremely soft, easy to knead and turns hard as a rock when baked, so it won't bend or crack.

Sculpey UltraLight Oven Bake Clay is the most versatile member of the Sculpey family of clays. This soft, easy-to-handle clay can be used to create just about anything. Despite its light weight and extreme softness, UltraLight bakes so hard that it won’t crack or break, even in larger pieces. However, UltraLight will remain flexible when rolled thin making it great for paper crafts.

• You can use UltraLight as filler for polymer clay beads which will help keep your jewelry creations, especially larger pieces, light and comfortable.
• To create decorative accents, you can sand, drill, buff and paint the baked-hard clay with acrylic paints.
• Ultralight clay will float, making it perfect for creating floating candle holders or bathtub toys.
• UltraLight is perfect for creating Christmas ornaments, especially large ones, that won't make your tree branches sag
• UltraLight is a great replacement for tin foil armatures, offering a smoother base for clay projects to be built around.
• It's durability once baked allows you to create larger sculpting projects  with UltraLight foundations.
• Accepts paint beautifully
• Use as a foundation layer to strengthen projects you create with other Sculpey or Premo! clays.  The UltraLight clay will chemically bond to the covering layer, making your final creation much stronger.
• To change the UltraLight's white color, mix with Sculpey III or Premo! clays. 

Instructions

• Bake at 275 °F (130 °C) for 15 minutes per 1/4 in (6 mm) thickness.
• DO NOT MICROWAVE.
• Baking should be completed by an adult.
• DO NOT EXCEED THE ABOVE TEMPERATURE OR RECOMMENDED BAKING TIME.
