Rotring's rapidograph technical pens have a unique capillary cartridge which incorporates a pressure-equalization system, including ink helix, into the cartridge itself so that every time you change it, you get a clean new ink helix. You never need to clean the ink helix and reliability of the pen is improved.

• Pen ships with 1 stainless steel nib and 1 capillary cartridge of regular black drawing ink.
  • 0.13 mm line width as measured per ISO 128 and DIN 15 for drawing and ISO 3098/I-DIN 6776 for lettering
  • Capillary cartridge has unique ink pressure-equalization built in so you never need to clean the ink helix.  You get a clean new helix with every cartridge you replace. Additionally, the double helix design guarantees optimum pressure compensation.
• 2 types of ink cartridge refills are available:
  • Regular drawing ink (one cartridge included with pen) is for tracing paper, vellum drawing paper and lineboard.
