Ready to go out of the box, these fine canvas boards' durable construction and portability are great for vigorous applications with painting knives as well as for painting en plein air. 

To produce an archival quality, stable and warp-free panel, the cotton and linen canvas hardboards are made from the same medium density fiberboard (MDF) core as the highest quality premium brand wood panels in the art supplies market, another example of Utrecht's philosophy of delivering premium brand quality at manufacturer direct pricing.
