These are canvas cross braces Best designed to work with their museum grade line of stretcher bars, the Best Pro-Bar aluminum combination stretcher frame system. Those stretcher bars and these cross braces will help you create a stretched canvas frame whose maximum strength and stability will prevent bending, bowing, warping or twisting as it and your painting age.

There are 4 layout patterns supported (see photo). To use designs C & D, you will need to special order your cross braces from customer service. The reason for special ordering is that the overlapping of the canvas cross braces in those designs requires the braces to be notched at the points of intersection. The Best factory does that before shipping the braces and needs to know which design you are using in order to do so. Additional fees, which customer service will quote for you, apply for the notching.
